What is aesthetic text?
Aesthetic text refers to text styled using Unicode characters that mimic various visual effects. Unlike HTML or CSS styling, these characters work anywhere — in social media bios, usernames, Discord messages, text messages, or anywhere plain text is displayed. The aesthetic style, popularised by vaporwave culture, uses fullwidth characters and spaced lettering to create a dreamy, retro feel.
Styles explained
Fullwidth: Uses the Unicode "Fullwidth Latin" block (U+FF01–U+FF5E) to produce wide characters like ａｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃ. Vaporwave: Simply adds a space between every character for a lo-fi, spaced-out look. Bubble Text: Uses Unicode enclosed alphanumeric characters (ⓐ–ⓩ, Ⓐ–Ⓩ) to surround each letter in a circle. Bold Serif: Uses the Mathematical Bold block (U+1D400–U+1D433) for heavy, bold letterforms. Stars: Wraps spaced text with star symbols (★). Brackets: Combines fullwidth characters with Unicode corner brackets (【】).

Browser and font support
Most modern devices and browsers support the Unicode ranges used here, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Some older fonts may not have glyphs for every character, in which case your device will display a fallback or box character.
